MEERUT: Sitting BJP MP from Bulandshahr, Bhola Singh, who is seeking a re-election from the west
UP constituency, was confined to his house by the district administration after a video purportedly showing him campaigning and seeking votes inside a polling station went viral on the social media.
In the clip, Singh can purportedly be seen walking into the polling station and seeking blessings of voters, who had lined up outside the booth.
He was also wearing party symbol which irked the poll staff on duty. Initially, he was barred from entering the booth by the security forces but later DM Abhay Singh allowed him to do so.
