Owaisi brothers attack PM Modi over NaMo merchandise

Owaisi brothers attack PM Modi over NaMo merchandise
HYDERABAD: After sparking a controversy by saying “If Prime Minister Narendra Modi ate beef biryani and slept,” Asaduddin Owaisi, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief, once again took a jibe at Modi and his followers. “On social media, Modi’s chamchas said don’t you (Asaduddin Owaisi) know he (Prime Minister) does not eat non veg? I don’t know, did I peep into his house and see.
Maybe he doesn’t eat, it’s his choice. I’ll say it in reverse — did he eat dhokla and sleep, did he eat idli or dosa and sleep, did he eat vada and sleep, did he eat vegetable biryani and sleep? Are you happy now? Now, tell me how did the RDX reach there?,” said Owaisi, referring to the Pulwama attack.
He also sought that section 153 (A) be imposed on UP CM Yogi Adityanath. He had addressed Imran Masood, Congress candidate from Saharanpur, as sonin-law of terrorist Masood Azhar.
Owaisi also took pot shots at Modi' s mai bhi chowkidaar campaign and sale of merchandise. “Only Modi-ji could have seen his imminent electoral loss and decided to prevent it by selling merchandise! For all the jobless youth who are victims of DeMo & GST — Modi’s ilaaj is to buy TShirts? Truly the first PM to have used his constitutional post to peddle TShirts,” tweeted Owaisi.
Comments by Owaisi chief came after Modi promoted Namo merchandise on Twitter. Modi tweeted, “The #MainBhiChowkidar programme on the 31st will look even better with the attractive merchandise! Have you ordered yours?”
Asad’s brother Akabaruddin Owaisi, also took a jibe at Narendra Modi’s humble origins by calling him chai-wala.
