Lok Sabha elections: Margin the only worry in Medak, says T Harish Rao

Lok Sabha elections: Margin the only worry in Medak, says T Harish Rao
T Harish Rao
HYDERABAD: A day after he was made a star campaigner, former minister and TRS leader T Harish Rao was at his fiery best claiming that the party’s win in Medak Lok Sabha seat is a foregone conclusion and his only worry is to get the maximum majority for party nominee Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, who is seeking a re-election.
The Siddipet legislator said the Lok Sabha election is not really a battle with BJP or Congress.
“While the win of TRS is certai, the competition is really about getting more majority than what TRS candidates will get in Karimnagar and Warangal,” he said at an election meeting in Chinna Shankarampet on Tuesday.
Harish said though Congress organised meetings in 56 mandals in seven assembly constituencies under Medak, empty chairs greeted their leaders. “This means our candidate’s victory is a foregone conclusion,” he said. He said BJP has no presence in Telangana.
