Congress makes public karz maafi application of Shivraj family
BHOPAL: Taking the Karz Maafi controversy to the next level, Congress made public the application of Shivraj Chouhan's brother for loan waiver on Thursday. Taking a dig at the former CM, agriculture minister Sachin Yadav said, " when Shivraj doesn’t know about the loan waiving in his family, how can he talk about the farmers of the state."
After fresh allegations from Chouhan and his denial that his brother did not even apply for loan maafi, Congress spokesperson, Narendra Saluja made public two applications under the loan waiving scheme. They include the applications of Rohit Singh, ex- CM’s brother and Niranjan Singh, son of Chouhan’s uncle. Besides other details, the applications also carried the details of the Adhar card and area of the agriculture land.
The government waived off the loan of the brother of Rohit Singh Chouhan, brother of Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Niranjan Singh, son of Shivraj’s uncle, tweeted the agriculture minister Sachin Yadav. “ When Shivraj doesn’t have any information about his family, he is talking about the farmers of the state. Shivraj ji stop spreading lie”, Sachin Yadav tweeted.
Chief minister Kamal Nath said in a public rallies in Sagar and Bina said that loans of 94,000 farmers worth Rs 1 crore were waived off in Jait village of Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
He said that the BJP leaders were continuously lying on the issue of loan waiving.
Saluja accused the BJP leader of not accepting "the reality of the pro-people policies of the Congress government". He said that Chouhan seems to have a memory loss and we have already sent to him Chavanprash and almonds to boost the memory and eye drops for improving the eyesight to go through the list of beneficiaries of the loan waiving scheme.
