NEW DELHI: The election for the Nanded Lok Sabha Constituency in Maharashtra, which is one of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state, will be held this year.The Election Commission of India has announced that the voting date for the Nanded Lok Sabha Constituency Election 2024 is 26th April (Phase 2).The Election Commission of India has declared that the counting and announcement of results for the Nanded Lok Sabha Constituency Election 2024 will take place on 4th June.The prominent candidates contesting in the 2024 Nanded Lok Sabha Constituency elections include Pratap Rao Patil Chikhalikar from the Bharatiya Janata Party and Vasantrao Balwantrao Chavan from the Indian National Congress.In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Prataprao Patil Chikhalikar of the BJP emerged as the winning candidate from the Nanded Lok Sabha constituency, securing 486,806 votes. Ashok Shankarrao Chavan of the INC received 446,658 votes. Ashok Shankarrao Chavan lost by a margin of 40,148 votes.In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Ashok Shankarrao Chavan of the INC emerged as the winning candidate from the Nanded Lok Sabha constituency, securing 493,075 votes. D B Patil of the BJP received 411,620 votes. The Nanded parliamentary constituency had a total of 1,687,057 registered electors in 2014.
