Don’t vote for BJP, urges CPM
HUBBALLI: The
Speaking to reporters here on Friday CPM state unit secretary U Basavaraj said, “The communal and dictatorial BJP and its alliance parties have helped multinational companies to loot the country and have also damaged communal harmony in the country.”
“They don't have the right to come back to power. People should not vote for BJP and instead support secular parties which are giving a close fight to BJP,” he added.
“The Union government has completely failed in keeping its promises. It had assured of bringing back black money in 100 days of coming to power. Instead bringing black money to the country they helped those who had black money. They hiked price of petrol and diesel and troubled people,” he alleged.
The Centre failed on all aspects and BJP is seeking votes without any shame now, he added.
“CPM has fielded a candidate Chikkaballapur, while CPI’s candidate contested from Tumakuru. CPM extended its support to Independent candidate Prakash Rai in Bengaluru Centra,” he said.
B N Pujari, B S Soppin, B I Iliger, Mahesh Pattar and others were present in the press conference.
