The list of 40 BJP star campaigners for Gujarat includes top BJP leaders like PM Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah, Union ministers, CM Vijay Rupani, deputy CM Nitin Patel, sitting and ex-CMs of various states and national BJP officersbearers. BJP sources said Oberoi will campaign in various constituencies in the state although a detailed schedule is yet to be drawn up.
The star campaigner list of the Congress includes party president Rahul Gandhi, Son i a Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Priyanka Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, CMs of all Congress-ruled states and all senior leaders of the Gujarat Congress. The party has named Hardik Patel and Alpesh Thakor in the list of 40 star campaigners.
All 26 seats in the state, currently held by the BJP, will go to polls on April 23.
