Defeat Chandrababu Naidu, support Jagan Mohan Reddy: YS Sharmila
GUNTUR: Stating that it is high time to say bye to Chandrababu Babu, YSRCP leader YS Sharmila said that the state will come out of the drought conditions only if Chandrababu Naidu is ousted from power. She appealed to people to loudly tell the TDP leaders ‘Ninnu Nammam Babu’ (We don’t believe Chandrababu Naidu) and extend support to Jagan.
Sharmila made a whirlwind visit of Guntur city on Saturday. She met the kin of the diarrhea victims in old city and consoled them. She promised to get full support from the government once Jagan takes over the reins of the state. Addressing a meeting at Mayabazar junction, Sharmila alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had ditched people on all fronts. She said that Naidu had not kept any of his hundreds of promises made before the last elections. “Naidu promised to waive of all the agriculture loans. He promised to waive off loans of self-help groups. He had also promised to deposit Rs.25000 to the parents of the girl children. You have seen as to what happened to all these promises in the last five years,” she fumed.
She said that Naidu would make false promises only for the sake of power. She said that Naidu had arrested the youth who fought for the SCS and changed colours after snapping ties with the NDA. She said that Naidu was biggest culprit in AP not getting the SCS.
She urged people to be cautious about the way Naidu is trying to deceive people with Pasupu Kunkuma promises. She said that lands pooled from the poor farmers in the capital city were being handed over to the corporate firms.
