BENGALURU: The
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expected to collect just about Rs one crore from a fund-raising lunch in Bangalore on Sunday. This is against its orginal target of Rs 3 crore, sources.

The event was an initiative by a group called "Well-wishers of AAP" co-ordinate by former Infosys board member and party candidate from Bangalore Central constituency V Balakrishnan with an intention to raise fund for the party in a 'transparent manner'.
AAP 's chances at the Upcoming Delhi elections was the hot topic at the event and those who attended the dinner quizzed the former Delhi Chief Minister on the issue. '" We have conducted an internal survey and it says we would get 45% vote share while BJP would get 4O% " Kejriwal said.
Another major highlight for the audience was Kejriwal's emphasising that Delhi election is not just important from AAP but also to common man who are aspiring to see good governance and corruption free India.

Karnataka is among the top four states in terms of offering donation to AAP. In the last fund raising effort by AAP in Bengaluru, it managed to get Rs 76.68 lakh from Karnataka, making it the fourth highest after Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
