Anima Dutta (Bharatiya Janata Party), Fajlur Rahaman Sekh (Bahujan Samaj Party), Rukbanur Rahman (Trinamool Congress), Hamidul Haque (Congress), Anarul Haque Sk (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Md Samsur Ali Mallick (All India Secular Front), Swapan Mondal (Amra Bangalee), Haydar Ali Mondal (Aam Janata Unnayan party), and Abdur Rouf (Independent) — 9 candidates contesting from Palashipara in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Palashipara is a General constituency under the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha segment, with 244,867 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Manik Bhattacharya of the Trinamool Congress won by a margin of 51,336 votes.
