Monteshwar Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP's Saikat Panja wins, ending TMC's hold
BJP's Saikat Panja secured the most votes, winning the constituency by a margin of 14,798 votes. He polled 96,559 votes across 21 rounds of counting, defeating TMC's Chowdhuri Siddiqullah who finished second with 81,761 votes. CPI(M)'s Anupam Ghosh came third with 18,192 votes, followed by Congress's Jyotirmay Mondal with 2,674 votes. Other candidates polled: Samsul Hoque Seikh (2,114), Khokan Das (681), Somnath Malik (442), Saikat Dhani (382). NOTA recorded 1,360 votes.The constituency's result adds to West Bengal's state-wide tally across its 294 Assembly segments.
