Abdul Khaleque Molla (Trinamool Congress), Bir Bahadur Singh (Bharatiya Janata Party), Md Mukhtar (Congress), Monirul Islam (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Ram Ramishwar (Bahujan Samaj Party), Ajaz Ahmed Ansari (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Rafiqul Islam Gazi (Indian Union Muslim League), Rina Adhikari Roy (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Ahmed Ali Molla (Independent), Mahabbat Khan (Independent), and Sk Monirul Islam (Independent) — 11 candidates contesting from Metiaburuz in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Metiaburuz is a General constituency under the Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, ABDUL KHALEQUE MOLLA of the Trinamool Congress won by a margin of 119,604 votes.
