Jamalpur Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP's Arun Halder leads with 11,178-vote margin
Arun Halder (Bharatiya Janata Party), Gaurhari Patra (Bahujan Samaj Party), Bhutnath Malik (Trinamool Congress), Rajib Saha (Congress), Samar Hazra (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Atasi Pakrey (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Biswajit Bag (Independent), and Raj Kumar Malik (Independent) — 8 candidates contesting from Jamalpur in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Jamalpur is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Bardhaman-Purba Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, ALOK KUMAR MAJHI of the Trinamool Congress won by a margin of 17,971 votes. The 2021 turnout was 88.9%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Jamalpur in 2026.
