In Jalpaiguri, Ananta Deb Adhikary of BJP secured a massive victory, polling 1,42,987 votes and defeating TMC’s Krishna Das by a margin of 68,805 votes. CPI(M)’s Debraj Barman finished third with 11,324 votes, as the constituency saw a dominant BJP performance.

In the Jalpaiguri constituency of West Bengal, BJP's Ananta Deb Adhikary is currently leading with 59,804 votes, holding a margin of 32,739 over TMC's Krishna Das, who has gathered 27,065 votes so far. Counting is still underway and the result is yet to be declared in this SC-reserved seat.

Bedodyuti Roy, contesting on a Bahujan Samaj Party ticket, is one of 14 candidates whose votes are being tallied in Jalpaiguri May 4. As counting progresses, the round-wise figures will show how they have fared across the constituency.
