Haringhata Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: BJP's Asim Kumar Sarkar leads with a 14,906-vote margin
Asim Kumar Sarkar (Bharatiya Janata Party), Biplab Biswas (Bahujan Samaj Party), Rajib Biswas. (Trinamool Congress), Swapan Kumar Sarkar (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Himanti Das (Congress), Amit Sarkar (Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party), Biplab Chandra Das (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Swapan Kumar Roy (Party for Democratic Socialism), Amal Sarkar (Independent), Bijay Majumdar (Independent), and Rupam Mondal (Independent) — 11 candidates contesting from Haringhata in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Haringhata is a Scheduled Caste (SC) reserved constituency under the Bangaon Lok Sabha segment, with 240,606 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Asim Kumar Sarkar of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 15,200 votes. The 2016 winner was Nilima Nag of the TMC. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Haringhata in 2026.
