Abu Esahak Gazi (Congress), Amirul Gazi (Bahujan Samaj Party), Aynul Arefin(Raju Ahmed) (Communist Party of India (Marxist)), Sourya Banerjee (Bharatiya Janata Party), Surajit Mitra (Badal) (Trinamool Congress), Shabana Parvin (All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen), Hironmoy Mondal (Socialist Unity Centre Of India (COMMUNIST)), Jishnudeep Majumdar (Independent), Subhasis Das (Independent), Surajit Mondal (Independent), and Soumen Das (Independent) — 11 candidates contesting from Basirhat Dakshin in West Bengal's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Basirhat Dakshin is a General constituency, with 275,934 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, Saptarshi Banerjee of the Trinamool Congress won the seat.
