UP Polls: BJP responsible for ‘mafiawad’ in UP, alleges Congress leader Pramod Tiwari

Congress leader Pramod Tiwari on February 27 alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party is responsible for ‘mafiawad’ in Uttar Pradesh citing BJP-BSP coalition government formed in 1996. “In 1996, when BJP-BSP formed government, 21 ministers were mafias, had criminal background. BJP is responsible for mafiawad in UP, they should be blamed. When I raised the issue in Assembly, Rajnath Singh had replied 'everything is fair in politics',” he said.
