Karaikal North Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: Thirumurugan holds seat for AINRC
P.R.N. Thirumurugan (All India N.R. Congress), A.M. Ranjith (Congress), S. Anusuya (Naam Tamilar Katchi), R. Balaguru (Desa Makkal Munnetrak Kazhagam), A. Vengadesh (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), M. Dhanabal (Independent), N.D. Perunthagai (Independent), Muruganandam (Independent), and Shajahan (Independent) — 9 candidates contesting from Karaikal North in Puducherry's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Karaikal North is a General constituency under the Puducherry Lok Sabha segment, with 34,364 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, P.R.N. Thirumurugan of the All India N.R. Congress won by a margin of 135 votes. The 2016 winner was PRN Thirumurugan of the AINRC. The 2021 turnout was 81.6%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Karaikal North in 2026.
