Kalapet Assembly Election Results 2026 Live Updates: DMK's Senthil Ramesh leads by 509 votes
P.M.L. Kalyanasundaram (Bharatiya Janata Party), Senthil Ramesh (Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam), M.O.H.F. Shahjahan (Congress), Outtradame (Pattali Makkal Katchi), K. Kamaraj (Naam Tamilar Katchi), D. Sasikumar (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam), and J. Gunasekaran (Independent) — 7 candidates contesting from Kalapet in Puducherry's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Kalapet is a General constituency, with 33,192 voters on its electoral rolls. In 2021, P.M.L. Kalyanasundaram of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by a margin of 3,508 votes. The 2016 winner was MOHF Shahjahan of the Congress. The 2021 turnout was 88.27%. the final result will show which candidate has secured the most votes in Kalapet in 2026.
