Nalaspora assembly election result 2024: BJP's Rajan Balkrishna Naik wins with 128238 votes

BJP's Rajan Balkrishna Naik secured the seat, bagging 165113 votes, while Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi's Kshitij Hitendra Thakur ended up second with 128238 votes. Third in the race was Vinod Shankar More from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, who secured 16949 votes.

Nalasopara is a significant legislative assembly constituency in Maharashtra, with a history of strong performances by candidates from the Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi (BVA).

In the 2019 Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha elections, Nalasopara had a total of 519,160 registered electors, with 269,070 valid votes cast. The BVA candidate Kshitij Hitendra Thakur won the seat, securing 149,868 votes. He defeated Shiv Sena's Pradeep Rameshwar Sharma, who received 106,139 votes. Thakur's victory margin was 43,729 votes, reflecting a clear win for the BVA in this constituency.

In the 2014 Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha elections, Nalasopara had 396,240 electors, and a total of 225,820 valid votes were cast. Kshitij Hitendra Thakur, again representing the Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi, won with 113,566 votes. He defeated Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajan Balkrishna Naik, who secured 59,067 votes, with Thakur winning by a commanding margin of 54,499 votes.

In the 2009 Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha elections, the constituency had 351,555 registered electors, and 168,960 valid votes were cast. Kshitij Hitendra Thakur, representing Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi, once again emerged victorious, securing 89,284 votes. Shiv Sena's Chavan Shirish Jayram finished second with 48,502 votes, losing by a margin of 40,782 votes.
