Aboobacker Backer Kundupuzhakkal (Aam Aadmi Party), Aswathi Gupthakumar (Bharatiya Janata Party), P.K Kunhalikutty (Indian Union Muslim League), K.T. Mujeeb Rahman (Nationalist Congress Party - Sharadchandra Pawar), Adv.Sadik Naduthodi (Social Democratic Party Of India), Abdul Gafoor Master O.P.K (Independent), Abdulsalam.K.P (Independent), and Sreedharan (Independent) — 8 candidates contesting from Malappuram in Kerala's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round will be closely watched as the day unfolds. Malappuram is a General constituency under the Malappuram Lok Sabha segment. In 2021, P. Ubaidulla of the Indian Union Muslim League won by a margin of 34,208 votes. The 2016 winner was P.
