SHIMLA: All the star campaigners of BJP will be starting “Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan” in Himachal Pradesh on October 30 in all the 68 assembly constituencies of the state for the assembly elections.
The 32 star campaigners will address the public meetings in various districts and assembly constituencies of the state. BJP is claiming that the tenure of the chief minister Jai Ram-led government in Himachal Pradesh has been historic on whose basis the party is appearing before the public with the favourable election report card.
State BJP president Suresh Kashyap while addressing media persons in Shimla on Thursday said that the double engine government of the BJP has done unprecedented work, in which establishment of AIIMS in Bilaspur, Bulk Drug Park, Medical Device Park, Atal Tunnel and Renuka Dam etc. are prominent.
He said that inauguration of the Vande Bharat Express train in Himachal Pradesh is an unprecedented achievement of the double engine government and this is also a symbol of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's special attachment to Himachal.
He said that the double engine government of BJP at Centre has provided free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh through Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and then the BJP government of the state also started Himcare scheme for free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh to the people of the state.
Similarly, the Modi government at the Centre provided free gas cylinders to poor families through the Ujjwala Yojana and the state government provided free gas cylinders on the same lines under the Grahiini Suvidha Yojana. This is an excellent example of double engine government, he added.
Suresh Kashyap said that the practice of changing the custom has started from 4 states and now the custom is going to change in Himachal Pradesh too. He said that BJP is coming back to power in the state on the strength of its workers, corruption free governance and honest leadership.
