KOLKATA: West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee congratulated the people of Bengal as
she led her party to a 210 plus seats in the assembly elections. The Trinamool Congress swearing-in may take place on April 27.
The West Bengal CM, while addressing the media, said that there was unprecedented defamation launched against her by the opposition and the people of Bengal has replied in the right way.
She ruled out any corruption in Bengal politics and stated that Narada scam was created by media.
She said that CPI-M made a historical blunder by going for a tie-up with the Congress. She said that Trinamool will observe cultural festival till May 30. She also thanked the Election Commission, but did not stop from commenting that EC had done some excess.
