BJP moves EC on Didi

The state BJP on Wednesday complained to the Election Commission against chief minister Mamata Banerjee's May 1 statements calling a section of police cowards and lackeys. BJP, following similar demands by CPM and Congress earlier, urged the EC to consider what they felt was intimidation of police ahead of the May 5 final phase polls. The EC had already sought the video tapes of the CM's speech.No decision has been taken on it yet.
