AIADMK has taken state backwards, says EVKS Elangovan

MADURAI: A handful of Tamil Maanila Congress workers joined the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee as E V K S Elangovan, state president, commenced his election campaign here on Saturday.
Elangovan said the AIADMK failed to fulfill its promises in the past five years, while taking the state backward. "Most of the existing schemes were implemented when Kamaraj and Bakthavatsalam were chief ministers.Even during the DMK regime, there were good projects like Samathuvapuram, but there are only problems during the AIADMK rule," he said.
