DMK has slender leads in Chennai constituencies

CHENNAI: DMK has established slender leads in most of the Chennai city constituencies as per initial trends. This includes DMK treasurer M K Stalin at Kolathur and J Anbazhagan in Chepauk.

AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa is leading in R K Nagar constituency. Power minister Natham Viswanathan, textile minister Gokula Indira, social welfare minister B Valarmathi and agriculture minister R Vaithyalingam were trailing when reports last came in.

Across the state, the third front comprising the DMDK, PWF and TMC was cutting a sorry figure. Only its chief ministerial candidate Vijayakanth was leading. VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan was trailing in kattumannarkoil. The PMK was leading in three constituencies.
