PMK's Anbumani, education minister Palaniappan trail

DHARMAPURI: The youngest CM aspirant in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, Pattali Makkal Katchi's (PMK) Dr Anbumani Ramadoss was trailing in his constituency of Pennagaram in Dharmapuri district.
At the end of the second round of counting, Ramadoss had secured 4,948 votes, trailing by 1678 votes, behind DMK contestant P N P Inbasekaran, who secured 6,656 votes.
Similarly, Tamil Nadu Minister for Higher Education and AIADMK candidate P Palaniappan also trails in his Pappireddipatti constituency in Dharmapuri district. At the end of the first round, Palaniappan secured 3,215 votes behind PMK candidate M Sathyamoorthy got 3955 votes.
