Jaya to address rally on May 6, the day PM is in Chennai

CHENNAI: As per her revised campaign schedule, AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa will address public meetings at her R K Nagar constituency in Chennai on May 6, a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to speak at a BJP

election rally

in the city.

According to the AIADMK, she will address five public meetings on Friday in R K Nagar, from where she is contesting for a successive term. According to the earlier schedules released by the party, she had no fixtures on May 6.

Jayalalithaa will wind up her

election campaign

at Tirunelveli district on May 12.

Modi, who will be visiting Tamil Nadu for his first poll campaign for the May 16 Assembly elections, is scheduled to address public meetings at Hosur and Chennai on Friday.
