KOTTAYAM: “In at least 3 to 4 constituencies in the state the fight is between the UDF and the NDA,” said former defence minister A K Antony here on Tuesday. “Kuttanad, Manjeswaram and Kasargod are among these constituencies,” he said.
He also said that while VS Achutanandan is the star for the LDF, the UDF has three stars-Oommen Chandy, Ramesh Chennithala and V M Sudheeran. The credit for a UDF win will go to the Congress and the constituents of the UDF. The credit in the Congress party will go to the three stars, he said.
He also said that the UDF has overtaken the LDF in the last lap of the elections and at the finishing point it will increase the lead.
He also raised the question regarding the funding for the election by the BJP. “If the fight is between the UDF and the LDF in the state, it is the BJP which is flowing money. From where this money is coming. The source should be revealed," he asked.
He also lauded Oommen Chandy saying that unbelievable development is happening in the state under him. He also cautioned all those who are taking a soft approach towards the BJP. "BJP strengthening in Kerala is danger for the future of the state, he said.
