WB JECA 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will close the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination for Computer Applications (JECA) 2026 tomorrow, April 28, 2026. Candidates who want to take admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses offered by different institutions in West Bengal should complete their application before the deadline.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
Earlier, the board had extended the last date for registration, giving students extra time to complete the application process.
After the registration process ends, the application correction window will open from April 30 to May 1, 2026. During this period, candidates will be allowed to make changes to their submitted application forms.
The WB JECA 2026 examination will be held on June 16, 2026. The exam will be conducted in offline mode using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets.
The test will take place in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm.
Candidates from the General category have to pay an application fee of Rs 500.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), third gender, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories need to pay Rs 400.
The exam duration will be 2 hours. The question paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 120 marks.
