UPTET 2026: The registration process for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 will close today, May 3, 2026. Candidates who want to apply for the examination must complete their application through the official website at upessc.up.gov.in before the deadline.
The application process started on March 27, 2026, and the examination authority has clearly stated that candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process before filling out the application form. Without completing OTR, candidates will not be allowed to submit the UPTET 2026 application form.
Earlier, the registration deadline was April 26, 2026 but due to server-related issues in OTR, the last dates for online registration/application/fee submission, as well as correction in the application form and fee reconciliation (Bank Reconciliation) for UPTET 2026 were extended by the Commission.
The UPTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026.
This year, the authority has introduced the One Time Registration system for all applicants.
During OTR, candidates need to enter their basic details and generate a unique OTR ID. This OTR ID is necessary to complete the final application form.
Candidates must first finish this step before proceeding with the registration process.

- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree

- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process
- Upload required documents such as photograph and signature
- Generate the OTR ID after submitting details
- Log in using the OTR ID and fill the application form
- Pay the application fee through online mode
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference
