UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 Notification released, direct link to apply at upsc.gov.in
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission has released the UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 Notification today, December 20. Candidates who are interested and wish to apply for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) and Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024 can visit the official website of the Commission at upsc.gov.in and apply online for the same.
The Online Applications can be filled until January 9, 2024, till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card Seven Days before the commencement of the examination.
"The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions," reads the official notification.

How to apply for UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 Exam?
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website upsconline.nic.in. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Commission at upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the link available for UPSC NDA or CDS (I) Examination 2024 on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen, click on the link available for Registration.
Step 4: Another window will open, proceed to register and fill out the online application form.
Step 5: Upload the necessary documents, as asked, and make the payment of application fees.
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and take its printout for further reference.

As per the notification, through the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024, the Commission aims to fill up a total of 400 vacancies while the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024, will be conducted for a total of 457 vacancies.
