UPSC CAPF AC registration 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the registration window for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandant examination 2026 today, March 12, 2026. This recruitment initiative aims at filling 349 officer-level positions in the five major paramilitary forces in India, which are BSF (108 posts), CRPF (106 posts), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF, 70 posts), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB, 53 posts), and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP, 12 posts). The CAPF written examination is to be held on July 19, 2026. The successful applicants will be subject to Physical Efficiency Test (PET), medical check-up and interview/personality test, and the ultimate selection will be made.
