When it comes to comforting and filling bread snack to enjoy with chai, everyone loves Bread Paneer Pakoda. It is a classic deep-fried dish made with a stuffing of paneer between bread slices, coating it with a spiced gram flour batter, and deep frying until golden and crispy. It is best enjoyed with green chutney and masala chai. Try this recipe and thank us later.

4-8 bread slices, 150–200 g paneer, 1 cup besan, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp carom seeds, ½ tsp garam masala, salt to taste, water, and refined oil for frying

Take a deep bowl and besan, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ajwain, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

Add water gradually to make a smooth, thick batter without lumps and let it rest for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, place a paneer slice on one bread slice. Top it with a sprinkle of chaat masala and cover with another bread slice and press gently. Cut the sandwich diagonally into triangles.

Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai on medium flame.

Now, dip each bread-paneer triangle into the besan batter to coat them well on all sides.

Carefully drop the triangles into hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.

Remove and place them on tissue paper to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with mint coriander chutney. Enjoy!
