UGC NET June 2026 schedule released: NTA to conduct exam from June 22 to 30; check subject-wise dates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the subject-wise schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 session. As per the official notification, the examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 22 to June 30, 2026.
The exam will be held in two shifts every day. Shift 1 will take place from 9 am to 12 noon, while Shift 2 will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates appearing for the examination are advised to check their subject-wise exam dates and keep track of important updates regarding city intimation slips and admit cards.
NTA has informed candidates that the exam city intimation slip will be released around eight to ten days before the examination date. Therefore, candidates scheduled to appear on June 22 can expect their city allotment details between June 12 and June 14.
The admit cards will be issued separately before the examination. Candidates should carefully verify their exam city, subject code, reporting time and shift details after downloading the admit card.
