UGC NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online application portal for UGC NET June 2026 examination. The registration process commenced on April 29, 2026, as per the public notice issued by the agency.UGC NET is conducted to determine eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship, appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to PhD programmes in universities and colleges across India. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 85 subjects.Important dates for UGC NET June 2026Application process and eligibility criteriaCandidates are required to apply through online mode only on the official NTA website. Submission of application forms through any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application per candidate is permitted.Applicants must carefully follow the instructions provided in the information bulletin available on the official portal.
