UBSE scrutiny window opens for Classes 10th and 12th: Check complete details here
The Uttarakhand Board of School Education has issued the scrutiny notification for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations 2026, a day after announcing the results on April 25. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can now apply for rechecking or obtain photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets.
The board clarified that the scrutiny process will allow candidates to verify their marks, including checking for totalling errors or unmarked answers. Students opting for photocopies will be able to review their answer scripts for further clarity on evaluation.
According to the official notice signed by Secretary Vinod Prasad Simalti, the entire application process has been made online.
The board has set a strict timeline for applications. The scrutiny window has opened immediately after the result declaration and will remain active for 30 days. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Students have been advised to complete the process within the stipulated period to avoid disqualification.
UBSE has prescribed a fee structure for both services. Candidates will have to pay ₹100 per subject for scrutiny and ₹400 per subject to obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet. The fee must be deposited through an e-challan at a State Treasury or State Bank of India branch under the specified account head for board examination fees.
