TN SSLC 2026: Provisional marksheets released, schools begin distribution: Check complete details here
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu has issued an official notification regarding the availability of TN SSLC (Class 10) provisional marksheets and related services for students who appeared in the March–April 2026 examinations.
As per the notification, students can now access their provisional mark certificates from May 22, 2026 onwards. The marksheets have been made available through the Headmasters of the respective schools from the afternoon of May 22, ensuring that students can collect their results without delay.
According to the DGE, students are required to collect their provisional mark certificates directly from their schools. Headmasters have been authorised to distribute the documents once they are made available by the board.
For private candidates, the process has been made fully online. They can download their provisional marksheets from the official website — dge.tn.gov.in. The link titled “SSLC Provisional Mark Certificate” has been activated for easy access.
To download the marksheet, private candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth on the portal.
Alongside the marksheet distribution, the board has also introduced a facility for students who wish to obtain photocopies of their answer sheets. This step allows candidates to review their evaluated scripts before deciding on further academic steps.
Students can apply for answer sheet photocopies through their respective schools between May 22 and May 27, 2026. A fee of Rs. 275 per subject must be paid in cash at the school while submitting the application.
The board has also made it clear that only those students who obtain photocopies of their answer scripts will be eligible to apply for re-totalling or re-evaluation.
