TG PGECET 2026 exam postponed to June 1 due to Bakrid holiday; hall ticket to be released on this date

TG PGECET 2026: The Telangana Council of Higher Education has postponed the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2026 examination scheduled earlier due to the Bakrid holiday. According to the official announcement, the examination will now be conducted on June 1, 2026.

The council clarified that there will be no change in the examination shift timings. The morning session will continue to be held from 10 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon session will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The official notice stated that the TG PGECET 2026 examinations scheduled on May 29, May 30 and May 31 will be conducted as per the earlier timetable.

The TG PGECET 2026 examination will now be conducted on the following dates:

• May 29, 2026
• May 30, 2026
• May 31, 2026
• June 1, 2026

The examination will be held in two shifts each day.

The council has also announced that candidates who registered for the examination will be able to download their hall tickets from May 22, 2026, from 11 am onwards through the official website.

Candidates are advised to carefully check all details mentioned on the admit card after downloading it.

The computer-based entrance examination is conducted for admission into full-time courses including:

• Master of Engineering (ME)
• Master of Technology (MTech)
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm)
• Master of Architecture (MArch)
• Graduate level PharmD (Post Baccalaureate)

Admissions will be offered in universities and affiliated engineering, pharmacy and architecture colleges across Telangana for the academic year 2026-27.
