RSSB teacher recruitment 2026: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Teaching Associates on a contractual basis under the Rajasthan College Education Society. A total of 3,540 vacancies have been announced across 32 subjects, inviting applications from eligible male and female candidates through the SSO portal.According to chairman Maj Gen Alok Raj, PVSM, AVSM, the online application process will begin on May 5 and continue until June 3. The written examinations are planned for September and October. He also stated that an additional 2,000 posts will be included under L1 teacher recruitment, with a separate notification to follow.Recruitment details and vacanciesThe recruitment drive, advertised under number 06/2026, offers Teaching Associate positions equivalent to Assistant Professor roles on a contractual basis. The monthly remuneration is set at Rs 28,850, and postings will be across Rajasthan.Vacancy details by subjectApplication fee and eligibility criteriaThe application fee is Rs 600 for General category candidates and applicants from outside Rajasthan. Candidates from OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, and ST categories within the state are required to pay Rs 400. The same fee applies to candidates with disabilities. Payments can be made online via Net Banking, UPI, Credit Card, or Debit Card.Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2027. Relaxations are applicable: five years for women in the General category and men from reserved categories, and ten years for women from reserved categories. Widows and separated women are exempt from the upper age limit.Educational qualifications and selection processCandidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. Qualification in NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or SLET/SET, is required, with specific exemptions outlined in the official notification.Selection will be based on a written examination scheduled between August and October. Applicants must complete the online process, upload documents, pay the fee, and retain a printed copy of the submitted form for records.
