OPSC OCS 2026 registration ends on March 12: Check eligibility and direct link to apply
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) application deadline for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) examination 2026 is tomorrow, March 12, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their forms until through the official OPSC website.
Earlier, the Commission gave aspirants additional time to complete the online registration and upload required documents. The OCS examination is conducted to recruit candidates for Group A and Group B posts in the Odisha state administration. This year, the recruitment drive aims to fill 465 vacancies across several state government services.
Candidates must complete the application process online within the previously extended deadline. Those who miss the final date will not be allowed to apply once the application window closes.
The OCS recruitment will fill posts in services such as Odisha Administrative Service, Odisha Police Service, Odisha Revenue Service, and other allied departments under the state government.
To apply for the examination, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. The minimum age required is 21 years, while the upper age limit is 38 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.
Applicants must also have knowledge of the Odia language. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak Odia and must have studied the language at school level or passed an equivalent test.
The OCS recruitment process is conducted in three stages. Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next.
