Odisha Plus Two Result 2026 declared, but students left waiting as official links remain inactive
The Council of Higher Secondary Education has officially declared the Odisha Plus Two Result 2026 for all streams, but thousands of students across the state are still waiting anxiously as result links on official websites and DigiLocker are yet to be fully activated. The results are announced on May 20 between 12:30 PM and 1 PM, following confirmation by School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. However, soon after the announcement, many students reported being unable to access their marksheets online.
More than 4.1 lakh students appeared for the Annual Higher Secondary Examination (AHSE) 2026 conducted between February 18 and March 25. As students rushed to check their scores, several official portals either failed to load or continued showing inactive result pages, triggering confusion and frustration among candidates and parents.
This year, the board declared Science, Commerce and Arts stream results together, marking a major departure from previous years when results were released separately. Despite the streamlined announcement, students are still waiting for working download links on official portals and DigiLocker.
Science emerged as the best-performing stream with an overall pass percentage of 88.82 per cent. Girls outperformed boys by securing a pass percentage of 90.24 per cent, while boys recorded 87.41 per cent. More than 5,100 students scored above 90 per cent marks.
Balasore district recorded the highest pass percentage in Science at 96.63 per cent, while Koraput stood at the bottom with 77.14 per cent.
The Commerce stream registered an overall pass percentage of 88.07 per cent. Girls once again stayed ahead with a pass percentage of 90.43 per cent, compared to 86.67 per cent among boys. Boudh district achieved a perfect 100 per cent result in Commerce.
Meanwhile, the Arts stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 84.50 per cent. Girls secured 89.45 per cent, significantly higher than boys at 77.97 per cent. Sambalpur emerged as the top-performing district in Arts with 89.48 per cent. The board has confirmed that no results have been withheld in any stream this year.
Although the results have been declared officially, students are still unable to fully access scorecards as links remain inactive on several portals. The official websites where results are expected to be available include:
Once the links are activated, students can follow these steps:
Students hoping to access digital marksheets through DigiLocker are also facing delays as the result section has not yet been updated for several users. Once activated, candidates will be able to log in using their registered mobile number or Aadhaar details and download their provisional digital marksheets.
Students must secure at least 33 per cent marks in each subject to pass the examination. Candidates failing to meet the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to appear for supplementary examinations, expected to be conducted in June.
The board has also clarified that original certificates and marksheets will later be distributed through respective schools.
