NTA recruitment 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for multiple senior-level positions on a contractual basis. The recruitment notification has been released for the posts of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Finance Officer (CFO), and General Manager-Human Resources (GM-HR).
According to the official notification, interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through email or post on or before May 31, 2026, by 5 pm. Applications received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered.
NTA, which functions under the Ministry of Education’s Department of Higher Education, conducts national-level entrance examinations for admission to premier higher education institutions across the country.
The recruitment drive includes the following posts:
All positions will be based at the NTA headquarters in New Delhi.
According to the detailed notification, for the CTO post, candidates should possess a Master’s degree or diploma in Technology, Management, or an equivalent qualification from a reputed institution. Applicants must also have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience, including five years in a senior leadership role such as CTO, Chief Information Officer (CIO), or Head of Technology.
And for the CFO role, one should hold qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, or a Master’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance, according to the official notification. A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, audit, treasury, or accounts is required.
Meanwhile, candidates applying for the GM-HR position should possess a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management or related disciplines, along with at least 12 years of experience in the HR domain.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through email at dir.admin@nta.ac.in or send their completed application form by post within the timeline set by NTA.
The recruitment will be conducted on a contractual basis initially for a period of three years, which may be extended depending on organisational requirements and candidate performance.
