The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 tomorrow, March 10, 2026. Candidates who want to apply for the entrance examination must complete the application process before the deadline on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/ncet.
The entrance test is conducted for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by selected Central and State Universities, Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) and other participating government colleges for the academic session 2026–27.
According to the official notice issued by the NTA, candidates can submit their online application form until today (up to 11:50 PM).
The last date for successful payment of the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI is March 11, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
Candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

After the registration process ends, the agency will provide a correction facility from March 12 to March 14, 2026, according to the official notice.
During this period, applicants will be able to review their submitted forms and make corrections in the permitted fields if required.
NCET 2026 will be conducted in 13 languages across India through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The examination is scheduled to be held on April 17, 2026.
The city of examination will be announced later on the official website, while the admit cards will be released shortly before the exam date.
After the examination is conducted, the recorded responses and provisional answer keys will be displayed on the official NCET website.
Candidates will also be able to check and download their NCET 2026 results from the same portal once they are declared.
