Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has released a new job opening notification for the year 2026 to hire employees at the Tarapur Atomic Power Station, Maharashtra. The giant public sector firm is inviting applications only from Indian citizens and the total number of job vacancies is expected to be 114 (both technical and administrative post).
Depending on the position, a candidate with Class 10, ITI, diploma, BSc, and graduate qualification can apply.
The online application process will begin on January 15, 2026, and will remain open until February 4, 2026. Applications will be accepted only through the official NPCIL careers portal. Educational qualifications vary by post. Some roles require a diploma in engineering or a BSc degree, while others require Class 10 or Class 12 along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Assistant Grade-I posts require a bachelor’s degree. Candidates must meet the age limit prescribed for each post. The selection process will include an online computer-based test for most posts. Candidates applying for technical roles may also have to appear for a skill test or trade test.
