The registration window for NLC India Limited’s 2025-26 Apprentice recruitment is closing soon. Candidates interested in Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeships must complete their applications before the deadline on January 2, 2026. A total of 575 apprenticeship training posts are available across multiple engineering and non-engineering disciplines.

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, nlcindia.in, and must also send a signed hard copy of the application along with self-attested documents to the Learning and Development Centre, NLC India Limited, Neyveli.

NLC Apprentice recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions below to be considered for the apprenticeship training.

• Candidates must belong to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, or the Union Territory of Puducherry
• The qualifying degree or diploma must have been completed in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025
• Applicants should not have undergone or be currently undergoing apprenticeship training in NLC India Limited or elsewhere
• Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules
• Reservation norms for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwBD will be applicable as per Government guidelines

Educational qualification:

Graduate Apprentice:

• A full-time Degree in Engineering or Technology awarded by a statutory university
• A full-time Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution empowered by an Act of Parliament
• Graduate examinations of professional bodies recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent

Technician (Diploma) Apprentice:

• A full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology awarded by a State Council or Board of Technical Education
• A full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology awarded by a university
• A diploma qualification recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent

NLC Apprentice recruitment 2025: Salary

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend during the apprenticeship period as per the applicable norms.

NLC Apprentice recruitment 2025: Selection process

Selection for both Graduate and Technician apprentices will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree or diploma.

In case of a tie at the cut-off level, preference will be given to the senior candidate by date of birth. Completion of apprenticeship training does not confer any right to employment in NLC India Limited.
