NIRF Rankings 2025: From IIM Udaipur to MNIT Jaipur, a look at Rajasthan's top 5 management institutes
The Ministry of Education has announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2025, highlighting the country’s leading higher education institutions across multiple categories. At the official release, Union Minister of Education Mr Dharmendra Pradhan underlined the credibility of the NIRF system and its alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Minister of State for Education and Development of North Eastern Region, Dr Sukanta Majumdar, added that this year’s edition saw participation from over 14,000 institutions nationwide.
In the management category, Rajasthan featured a strong mix of prestigious national institutes and private universities that have carved out their space in business education. Institutions were evaluated on parameters such as Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RPC), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), and Perception.
The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur secured the 21st rank in the NIRF 2025 management category with an overall score of 61.79. The institute excelled in Graduation Outcomes (88.51) and Teaching, Learning and Resources (81.09).
Established in 2011, IIM Udaipur has quickly emerged as one of the most respected members of the IIM network. Its rapid rise in the rankings reflects its academic rigour and consistent focus on research and experiential learning.

It secured the 62nd position with an overall score of 52.07, driven by its strong Research and Professional Practice (60.97) and solid Outreach and Inclusivity (68.10).
