NID DAT 2026 Prelims result declared for M.Des; rechecking open till February 14: Check direct link

The National Institute of Design (NID) has declared the NID DAT 2026 Prelims result for the Master of Design (M.Des) programme. Candidates who appeared for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims can now check their scorecards on the official website — admissions.nid.edu. The result was released on February 12, 2026. Rechecking window open till February 14

NID has opened the rechecking window for the M.Des DAT Prelims result. The facility started on February 12 at 6 PM and will remain available till 11:59 PM on February 14, 2026. Rechecking will only be done to see whether all the answers were marked, if total marks were correctly added, and if any question was left unchecked. The NID will not re-evaluate the answer or change the marks beyond these basic checks.

No re-evaluation of answers or change in marks will be done by NID on receiving the review requests. Candidates need to submit the request for rechecking in the stipulated time provided through the portal only.

DAT Mains exam in March

The candidates clearing this Prelims exam will move to the next stage, which is NID DAT 2026 Mains. The mains stage includes a Studio Test and Personal Interview. It is expected that the exam is going to be conducted in March 2026. The exact dates and admit card details regarding this would be announced on the official website soon.
