While the NTA recently issued "Exam City Intimation Slips" to alleviate travel anxieties, those documents were merely a preamble. The NTA reported a high success rate in logistics this year, noting that 99.2% of candidates were allotted their first-choice examination city.

The NEET UG 2026 will follow its traditional, high-stakes format. The examination is set to take place in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in a traditional offline (pen-and-paper) mode.
