Candidates who want to challenge any answer in the provisional key can submit objections through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

To raise objections, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 for each question challenged. The CET Cell has stated that the fee is non-refundable and has been introduced to avoid random or unnecessary objections.

MHT CET 2026 marking scheme

Candidates can use the provisional answer key to calculate their probable scores in the examination.

According to the marking scheme:

• Mathematics carries 2 marks for each correct answer
• Physics and Chemistry carry 1 mark for each correct answer
• No negative marking will be given for incorrect or unanswered questions
